Gulu Independent Hospital (GIH) is privately
owned and operated hospital.
The hospital is built to perform both routine and specialist surgeries which, until now, most Ugandans have to obtain from overseas. Our commitment is to qualify and value, providing facilities for advanced surgical procedures together with friendly professional care.
The Hospital operates a quality management system in line with BSENISO9002: 1994 Certification, including aspect specifics to the health care industry. The quality management system is detailed in a procedural manual. All personnel understand the importance of quality and abide by the contents of the manual.
Gulu Independent Hospital complies with all legislation relevant to the health care industry, the Data Protection Act, Nurses & Midwifery Act and Health and Safety at Work Act.
